REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma in a technical field – electrician, plumber, air-conditioning/heating installer, mechanical technician, etc.
• Preferably six months of work experience

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Responsible for the functionality and inspection of all safety devices and equipment in assigned facilities
• Maintains a fault report log and ensures timely elimination of malfunctions
• Responsible for the quality of performed work and adherence to deadlines
• Properly preserves and de-preserves systems and equipment when a facility is out of operation for an extended period
• Performs other tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor, within their expertise and abilities
• Knows and applies department SOPs
• Knows and applies workplace health and safety measures
