Lean Construction Specialist

Job Description

Lead the implementation of Lean Construction of Belgrade Airport construction project to improve project delivery, increase productivity, reduce waste, and enhance collaboration among project stakeholders. 

Key Responsibilities
•    Implemented Lean Construction tools and practices, including the Last Planner System (LPS), 4-week lookahead planning, daily meeting and constraint management. 
•    Facilitated collaborative planning workshops involving the whole team, contractors, and subcontractors. 
•    Identified and eliminated non-value-added activities to improve workflow reliability and project performance. 
•    Monitored and analyzed key performance indicators (KPIs) related to schedule adherence, productivity, and waste reduction. 
•    Supported continuous improvement efforts through root cause analysis, lessons learned sessions, and performance reviews. 
•    Promoted a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement across project teams.

•    Improved workflow predictability and schedule reliability through implementation of Lean planning systems.

Qualifications
Education
•    Bachelor's – master’s degree in construction management, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. 

Experience
•    3+ years of experience in Lean management, construction management, project management, or process improvement. 
•    Exposure to construction planning, scheduling, daily site operations.

Knowledge
•    Basic understanding of Lean management, Lean Construction principles and methodologies preferred- including Last Planner System (LPS); 5S; Kaizen; Waste identification and elimination (Muda, Mura, Muri); Ability to coordinate teams; collect, analyze, and present project performance data.
