Attorneys at Law: Andrija Laković and Tijana Levakov in cooperation with TA Advisory SA (TA Geneva) are looking for a Legal Trainee to join the Team in Serbia.

TA Advisory SA is a boutique international law firm headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. The firm specializes in complex cross-border litigation, asset recovery, international arbitration, and global regulatory compliance.

Core Practice Areas

  • Litigation & Arbitration: Representing clients in domestic and cross-border disputes and international arbitration.
  • Contract drafting: Preparing, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial agreements and transactional documentation across domestic and multiple jurisdictions' matters.
  • Asset Tracing & Recovery: Assisting entities and individuals in recovering misappropriated assets or debts across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Sanctions & Compliance: Advising private and corporate clients on navigating international sanctions, export controls, and asset freezes.
  • Corporate: Incorporation of companies, drafting internal acts, providing end-to-end support for domestic and cross-border transactions, and M&A.
  • Real Estate and Construction Law: providing legal support in construction projects from the beginning until the final realization.

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Trainee to join our legal team in Serbia. This internship provides practical exposure to legal work in a business environment, including contract law, compliance, and regulatory matters.

This role is ideal for students or recent graduates who want to gain hands-on experience and develop their legal skills in a professional setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research;
  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and translating contracts and legal documents (Serbian/English);
  • Support compliance tasks, including GDPR and corporate regulatory requirements;
  • Help prepare internal legal memos and summaries;
  • Assist with company documentation and legal filing systems;
  • Monitor legal updates relevant to business operations in Serbia and the Switzerland;
  • Support attorneys or legal advisors in ongoing matters;
  • Assisting or substituting attorneys at law before courts, administrative bodies, banks, institutional and other local or state bodies and entities.
  • Other ongoing legal matters.

Requirements

  • A law degree obtained in the Republic of Serbia;
  • Statutory requirements stipulated under Article 54 of Advocacy Act;
  • Good understanding of Serbian legal system (Swiss law or international legal experience knowledge is considered an advantage);
  • Strong analytical and research skills;
  • Excellent written and spoken English (additional languages such as French, German, Russian are an advantage);
  • High attention to detail and responsibility when handling confidential data;
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PDF tools).
