Local Communications Advisor

On behalf of our client, a successful international company, we are looking for an experienced and proactive professional to fill in the following position: Local Communications Advisor

Main responsibilities:

• Providing project support including tracking and reporting of local activities, proactively and consistently managing stakeholder expectations at the local level, including managing external partners, including universities and vendors when relevant
• Providing general support with focus on support to the communities team, helping ensure efficient delivery of the team’s communications and media strategy
• Supporting implementation of the Group’s internal communications, brand and marketing communications activities to protect and enhance the company's reputation.
• Supporting the Communications team and CSP in the planning, preparation and coordination of events, meetings and workshops
• Promoting centers services and implementing marketing strategies to raise the profile of the center 
• Controlling and monitoring the center's budget, maintenance and operations. 
• Obtaining relevant up-to-date information about local stakeholders, and delivering timely reports to the team.
• Researching and preparing materials including briefs and presentations
• Participating in the development and strategic use of communications channels in support of the organization’s engagement strategy
• Complying with statutory, legal and the company's requirements as well as community expectations and recognized good practice
• Acting as the Local point of contact for CSR and community activities in cooperation with the Communities team

Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification, communications qualification preferable
• Excellent communication skills, punctuality, responsibility, persistence and drive for excellence
• Proactiveness and self-management
• Solid English skills, written and oral
• General knowledge of legal requirements in relation to communications

Experience:

• 5 years+ of professional experience in a similar role.
• Previous experience working within a multinational company is desirable.
• Experience working in a relations/communications role preferably within Serbia.
