For our factory in Niš, we are looking for a Logistics and Procurement Officer. 

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Logistics and Procurement Officer at Vossloh MIN Skretnice in Niš.

Job Description

• Procures materials, spare parts and other items required for the manufacture of products from the production program
• Performs logistics (transport) activities related to the import of fixed assets and finished products export 
• Carries out administrative tasks related to the procurement process
• Conducts control, monitoring and reporting on material inventories (MRP)
• Performs optimization of material inventories (MRP)
• Maintains contact with suppliers in order to ensure availability of goods, prices, monitoring of delivery deadlines and reduction of costs
• Monitors and reports to the Supply Chain Manager on deviations in material delivery deadlines
• Is responsible for the preparation, calculation and continuous supply of production with materials
• Is responsible for the analysis of suppliers’ forecasts in coordination with the production planner
• Performs activities related to indirect procurement as needed
• Participates in the preparation of reports aimed at optimizing monthly material inventories
• Prepares monthly logistics cost reports for the company management’s needs

Requirements

• University degree in economics, mechanical engineering or another technical field
• Work experience in the same or similar positions is an advantage
• Knowledge of the English language
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Highly proactive and responsible executive
