We are looking for:

Logistics Coordinator to support our engine leasing team.

Tasks

• Requesting freight quotes (road, air, sea) from authorized forwarding partners for piece part, engine and engine stand shipments and nominate forwarder based on costs, quality and customer service aspects
• Coordinating and monitoring shipments, analyzing irregularities and initiating corrective actions
• Monitoring legally compliant customs handling at origin and destination
• Monitoring all transport related documents are being archived in the MLS documentation software.
• In case of transport damages, compiling incident reports and all relevant documentation for claims processing.
• Support the integration of Transport/Logistics processes into the lease and asset management process landscape.
• Contribute to projects involving Transportation, Customs, Logistics, and Foreign Trade.
• Assist in the development of internal training materials related to Transportation and Logistics and give advice to other internal departments
• Support the operational management, development and improvement of our various Logistics warehouses worldwide
• Support the Senior Transport and Logistics Manager in continuous process and transport cost optimization.

Requirements

• University degree
• Relevant aviation industry experience
• Ability to handle multiple duties / priorities on a daily basis
• Affinity for quality issues
• Willingness to work in an international environment
• Detail oriented, structured and able to prioritize
• Good IT skills, in particular MS Office
• Very good and assured knowledge of the English language and preferable additional language skills
