Logistics Manager - Railway sector

Join SEGULA Technologies as a Logistics Manager, where you will act as a pivotal link in our client’s high-tech railway manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire logistics ecosystem—from warehouse management to transport and engineering—ensuring that physical and system flows are perfectly synchronized to meet rigorous production schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Manage cross-functional teams including Warehouse, Logistic Engineering, and Transport/Customs.
• Operational Excellence: Implement standard processes in compliance with the Logistic Handbook and Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Performance Monitoring: Track and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as inventory accuracy and cycle counting performance.
• 3PL Management: Oversee Third-Party Logistics (3PL) providers, ensuring contract compliance, service level agreements, and invoice validation.
• System Integrity: Ensure the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution is correctly utilized to guarantee master data quality.
• C-Class Management: Supervise the outsourcing of small parts management (C-Class) according to standard industrial rules.

Qualifications & Skills

• Industry Experience: A minimum of 3–5 years in Logistics & Warehouse management, specifically within the Railway or heavy industrial sectors.
• Management: At least 5 years of experience in team leadership.
• Education: Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Industrial Management.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP (specifically WM and IM modules) is highly desirable.
• Soft Skills: Strong leadership, negotiation, and risk management capabilities. Fluent English is mandatory.
