Due to the expansion of our office in Serbia, we are opening the position of Logistics Manager.

Key responsibilities:

• Organization, coordination, and control of transport processes for general, consolidated, temperature-controlled, ADR, oversized, and other types of cargo in both export and import directions using all modes of transport:
  • Road transport FTL/LTL;
  • Sea transport, including multimodal (sea+road, sea+rail) FCL & LCL;
  • Air transport;
  • Rail transport FCL & LCL.
• Analytical work on identifying and developing new transportation routes and optimal tariffs;
• Developing cooperation with transport providers and expanding the supplier portfolio (transport companies, freight forwarders, shipping lines, freight brokers, container owners, airlines, customs brokers);
• Communication with potential clients on transport and customs brokerage requests, including route and transport mode consultations, preparing quotations, and participating in meetings;
• Working with existing clients (requests, reports, correspondence, calls);
• Tariff calculation and preparation of commercial offers;
• Advising clients on transport documentation and shipment-related matters;
• Preparing or providing instructions for completing transport documents (B/L, TIR, CMR, MBL, HBL, RWB, AWB, HWB);
• Organizing cargo security and escort services;
• Resolving issues related to loading/unloading, delays, and other accompanying problems along the transportation route;
• Regular reporting on completed work (weekly and monthly basis);
• Maintaining records in line with company standards;
• Issuing invoices for logistics operations;
• Receiving and verifying invoices from subcontractors for logistics operations;
• Performing tasks assigned by the line manager related to transport, reporting, records, and others.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position;
• Experience in an international forwarding or transport company is an advantage;
• Knowledge of INCOTERMS;
• Proven experience in international transport;
• Business English, written and spoken (at least Intermediate level);
• Knowledge of Russian is an advantage, but not a mandatory requirement;
• Knowledge of principles for completing transport documentation;
• Experience in organizing multimodal shipments – advantage;
• Computer literacy – confident user;
• Stress resilience;
• Teamwork skills;
• Initiative, organizational skills, strong communication abilities, proactive attitude, and systematic thinking.
