MAINTENANCE GENERALIST

GiGroup HR Solutions on behalf of our client Wieland Electric GmbH, who has taken the decision to build a new site for the production of installation systems, is looking for an experienced and proactive professional to fill in the position as a Maintenance Generalist.

Location: Čačak, Serbia

Main responsibilities will include:

• Performance of maintenance work (repairs, servicing) on semi-automated assembly machines, other production equipment and on building infrastructure, based on component drawings, circuit diagrams, maintenance plans and technical standards. Subsequent function testing and commissioning;
• Assistance with the relocation of equipment as well as installation and commissioning of production facilities including handover to production;
• Systematic analysis and correction of mechanical and electrical faults;
• Conversion and optimization of assembly machines, manual devices or building infrastructure in coordination with the central mechanical engineering department;
• Electrical installation and wiring of manual devices, testing devices and semi-automated assembly machines with the aid of circuit diagrams and technical drawings;
• Independent production or procurement of spare parts based on drawings, sketches or samples;
• Organization of electrical and mechanical tests on production facilities and building infrastructure in accordance with local regulations;
• Close cooperation with headquarter in Germany.

Requirements:

• University degree, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical engineering field;
• At least 3-5 years of experience in similar role, preferably in metal-working installation company;
• Knowledge of pneumatics and ideally PLC programming;
• Ability to work in a structured, systematic and deadline-focused way;
• People oriented person with strong team work orientation;
• Good communication skills;
• PC literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), SAP preferably;
• Fluency in English.
