For our client, a well-established and rapidly growing company in fruits and vegetables processing industry, we are seeking an experienced and ambitious professional for the position of:

Maintenance Manager (Mechanical Engineer)

Location: Western Serbia – Mačva District

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing, modifying, and updating technical drawings using AutoCAD and other engineering software;
• Implementing structural and mechanical improvements to processing equipment and related components;
• Maintaining accurate technical documentation, equipment manuals, and engineering records;
• Acting as Deputy to the Technical Director, ensuring continuity of technical operations in their absence;
• Troubleshooting and optimizing mechanical performance of specialized equipment in the plant;
• Supporting long-term equipment modernization and the manufacturing of custom mechanical components;
• Leading and coordinating maintenance technicians and mechanics, providing technical guidance and assigning tasks;
• Planning and coordinating daily and preventive maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and operational safety;
• Mentoring maintenance teams in resolving complex mechanical issues and ensuring compliance with safety procedures.

Requirements:

• University degree in technical field, preferably Mechanical Engineering, with specialization in Thermal Engineering;
• 3–5 years of industrial engineering experience within manufacturing environment or heavy machinery maintenance;
• Expert proficiency in AutoCAD and technical blueprint interpretation;
• Solid understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and structural components;
• Strong analytical skills for technical troubleshooting;
• Strong aptitude to organize, guide, and lead a team of maintenance workers and technicians when required;
• Professional proficiency in English (technical communication);
• Good command of general IT/ERP systems.
