Maintenance Manager

Conceria Pasubio Spa., a leading company in the leather processing industry, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager for our factory in Šabac. Main duties and responsibilities:

• Responsibility for adequate organization, management, coordination and control of processes in the Maintenance in accordance with legal regulations and internal standards
• Organization of sector activities as well as optimization of relevant business processes in accordance with legal norms and internal standards of the company
• Organizes the deployment and use of the management system of maintenance processes of machines, buildings, facilities in the company in accordance with the requirements of Pasubio Group ISO 9001, IATF 16949
• Coordinates daily activities of the team of technicians within the maintenance department in order to ensure that production equipment, machines and instruments operate reliably and safely
• Defines priorities and tasks so that the resources of the maintenance department are used efficiently, and all defined plans and goals are met
• Monitors the status of maintenance equipment, maintenance materials, spare parts and tools used by technicians within the maintenance department in everyday activities
•  Educates the team of technicians within the maintenance department and assists the team of technicians in diagnosing complex problems on equipment and machines as well as in defining actions for solving thereof
•  Evaluates, selects and communicates with external companies if the need arises for their engagement in accordance with the company internal procedures
• Plans, organizes, manages and controls the work of the team of technicians within the production area machines so that all repairs and service activities are completed safely and on time
•  Monitors and controls the operation of an external generator in the event of power failure
• Plans, organizes, manages and controls the work of the department in accordance with LEAN SIX SIGMA principles
• Performs inventory listing of materials, spare parts and work equipment kept on stock
• Defines and performs budgeting of expenditures related to the maintenance department in cooperation with Finace Sector
• Mandatory continuous training in accordance with the company needs
• Disciplinary and professional management of team associates, especially the development and improvement of specific knowledge
• Responsibility to monitor and, if necessary, take corrective action on key performance indicators at the department level
• Regular monitoring and evaluation of attitudes towards work, work performance of department members in accordance with internal standards
• Implementation of defined internal communication measures towards department members
•  Keeping all necessary records and reports on the order of the superior in the required content and form
• Responsibility for adhering to legal norms and internal standards of all employees of the department regarding occupational safety, fire protection and environmental protection and proposing measures to improve them
• Responsibility for compliance with relevant legal regulations and internal acts of the Employer as well as communication of their requests to department members
• Performing other tasks as ordered by a superior in connection with the above tasks

Requirements:

• VI level of education
• 3 years of work experience in similar positions, preferably in automotive industry
• Excellent knowledge of maintenance systems and technical standards
• Ability to analyze and solve problems
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Willingness to work in a dynamic environment
• Proficiency in English knowledge
