Position: Manager Accounting & Reporting, Nis, Serbia

Purpose of Role:

Ensures the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities for the respective PMI affiliates are completed on time, including accuracy and adherence to legal, fiscal, statutory, and corporate requirements. This involves coordinating with BPO, other departments within the IBS organization, and affiliates. The position is designated to a specific market or cluster.

Accountability:

• You will be responsible for ensuring timely completion of monthly
• Quarterly, and annual closing activities for PMI affiliates
• Leading all aspects of the MEC process with Affiliate, IBS, and BPO Teams 
• Monitoring balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring accurate handling of overdue items and critical issues is crucial 
• Supporting BPO in resolving issues and coordinating with Affiliates, IBS, or Corporate Teams will be part of your daily tasks
• You will ensure all documentation prepared by the GL Retained Team meets SOX, PMI Principles and Practices, and Finance Accounting Standards requirements
• Additionally, you will participate in global projects and process changes implementation

Skills & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience
• Solid understanding of RTR GL processes
• Desirable team management experience
• Advantageous knowledge and practical application of AI tools and new technologies
• Proficient English proficiency
• Functional knowledge of SAP
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Imperative coordination and liaison skills
• Quick learner capable of navigating various backgrounds
• Demonstrates curiosity and takes initiative
