Manager Foreign Trade (Maternity cover)

We are looking for  Foreign Trade Manager (Maternity Cover) who is responsible for ensuring compliance with national, E.U., U.S., and third-country regulations concerning export control, customs, and Free Trade Zones (FTZ). This function also ensures that foreign trade requirements are properly embedded in business processes, schedules, and programs to safeguard against non-compliance.

Tasks

• Oversee export control, customs, and Free Trade Zone processes, ensuring adherence to regulations and company policies.
• Organize audits, risk assessments, and ongoing monitoring of trade compliance
• Develop, implement, and optimize trade-related processes, standards, and systems
• Deliver compliance training and ensure effective communication of rules across departments and stakeholders
• Review and approve contracts/agreements from a trade compliance perspective
• Ensure transactions are checked against restricted parties, end-use restrictions, and regulatory requirements
• Act as the main contact with authorities, customs, consultants, and internal teams; collaborate with international units
• Support IT systems, maintain documentation, and ensure data/process accuracy
• Lead improvement projects, support strategic initiatives, and oversee employee training and development

Requirements

• University degree in management in the field of economics
• Customs agent license
• 2-3 years of experience in customs and free zone operations and more than 1 year of experience in export control operations
• Experience in leading the team
• Experience with special customs regimes (inward processing, zone record keeping) and export control
• Good organization, analytical and presentation skills and ability to work in a team
• English language (written and fluent oral communication)
