Job description, responsibilities and duties
- Responsible for manufacturing engineering within the paint shop, focusing on paint fixtures, manual sealing, repair, and wax stations.
- Verify equipment performance, including cycle time, capacity, and capability, during installation, commissioning, and series build phases.
- Monitor deliveries from equipment suppliers through technical "Buy-off" processes and handle necessary material requirements (MRQ).
- Support the industrial launch phase by driving activities during installation, commissioning, and VP/series build stages.
- Coordinate technical changes and equipment deliveries to ensure seamless production flow and adherence to quality standards.
- Perform high-level technical analyses of programs and document all deviations with transparency and timely escalation.
- Provide feedback to technology development teams to update technical equipment specifications based on field experience.
- Collect and share "Lessons Learned" from both product and process perspectives to optimize future manufacturing cycles.
- Contribute to P-FMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and support third-party inspections during the certification phase.
- A typical day involves overseeing equipment performance on the shop floor and coordinating with suppliers to resolve technical deviations.
- Another daily activity includes analyzing engineering data and reporting on the progress of launch activities to project stakeholders.
- Working hours follow a standard 40-hour workweek, Monday through Friday, with flexibility required for critical launch milestones.

- Candidates with education suit the position Follow-up/Higher Professional Education University education (Bachelor's degree) University education (Master's degree) Postgraduate (Doctorate)
- Educational Specialization Mechanical, Manufacturing, Automation or Chemical Engineering
- Language skills English - Upper intermediate (B2)
- Other knowledge Paint shop processes or BIW fixtures - Advanced Technical data reporting - Advanced
- Experience in the position/sector 3 (Open to junior candidates with strong potential)
- Number of years of experience 3
Personality requirements and skills
- Degree in Engineering or related field (Chemical, Mechanical, or Materials)
- Experience with paint shop methods, sealing, or wax application is a plus
- Experience from paint material suppliers is highly relevant
- Background in BIW (Body in White) fixtures and manual decks is also considered
- Analytical mindset with strong engineering data reporting skills
- Professional Slovak language proficiency and technical English
- Ability to work independently and take full ownership of assigned areas
- Team player capable of collaborating in a multinational environment
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and managing complexity
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to industrial changes
