About AuthoredUp

AuthoredUp is a SaaS tool for content creators on LinkedIn. We’ve been operating for 3 years, and have thousands of customers, predominantly B2C. This year, we are looking to improve our marketing approach, especially regarding customer nurturing and retention.

We are a 7-person team, including you. Internal communication is in Serbian, and all products are in English.

About the job

You'll own how AuthoredUp talks to its audience and customers in writing. The newsletter, the trial emails, the pages on our site, the launches when we ship something new. The mix shifts often. We want someone who takes an idea, writes it, designs it, and ships it.

Here are some example projects we have in mind:

• Write a weekly newsletter for our users, bringing them the latest LinkedIn tips based on our usage data
• Improve our email trial sequence
• Run a re-engagement campaign for paid users who haven't been active
• Build solution pages for the ICPs we serve: individual creators, agencies, employee advocate programs
• Help us improve product pages on our website
• Engage directly with our users on LinkedIn via DMs, posts, and comments

The work is mostly writing, positioning, and judgment. You turn what we know about the product, our audience, and the data into things people want to read. Your work: 1) builds relationships 2) brings people to try the product, 3) keeps customers around, and/or 4) builds trust. 

Who you are

You have real experience with email marketing, newsletters, sales pages, or onboarding emails for a software product. Bonus if you've written for a SaaS audience, worked in a startup or a small team, or shipped landing pages.

You should run your own projects, decide when it's done, and push back when something doesn’t feel right. You should have an eye for design - you understand that the way information is presented is sometimes more important than the copy itself.

Above all, you should have a great taste.
