Marketing Team Lead

Novi Sad | Full Time

We are looking for a Marketing Team Lead who can bring structure, energy, and direction to our marketing team while staying hands-on in the work.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading people, organizing priorities, coordinating tasks, and turning ideas into concrete marketing activities. You will work closely with our Creative Director, who sets the creative direction, and your role will be to translate that direction into clear tasks, timelines, team coordination, and execution.

This is not a purely managerial position. We are looking for someone who is ready to lead the team but also actively contribute to campaigns, content, events, and day-to-day marketing activities.

If you have experience leading marketing teams, understand international B2B marketing, enjoy organic marketing, and constantly research trends, tools, and new ways to reach the right audience, this could be the right role for you.

Our customers include top-tier retailers such as Deichmann, Metro Cash & Carry, JYSK, and IKEA, as well as POS software vendors from all over the world.

The company has over 70 employees across several departments, including Development, Sales, Legal, Field & Repair, Marketing, Help Desk, Administration, and more.

What You’ll Own

  • Lead and coordinate a small marketing team, helping people stay organized, motivated, focused, and aligned.
  • Translate priorities and creative direction from the Creative Director (Darko Pavić) into clear tasks, deadlines, responsibilities, and execution plans.
  • Support the daily organization of the marketing team, including task distribution, follow-up, prioritization, and timelines.
  • Take an active operational role in marketing activities, including campaigns, content, events, and client communication.
  • Coordinate and participate in live and online events, webinars, podcasts, and other activities that connect us with clients, partners, and leads.
  • Work closely with Sales on B2B campaigns related to our software, consulting services, client portal, target markets, and international clients.
  • Support and update our client web portal from a marketing perspective, including campaign materials, product communication, client updates, and relevant content.
  • Develop and support organic marketing initiatives across LinkedIn, social media, events, communities, partnerships, client communication, and content.
  • Research marketing trends, retail trends, AI tools, organic growth strategies, and B2B marketing practices, and help the team test what makes sense for us.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, trade fairs, podcasts, webinars, and other relevant events, presenting our strategy, products, services, and expertise to clients, partners, and the wider market.
  • Use data, feedback, and campaign results to improve future activities and strengthen the way we present ourselves as an international B2B tech company.

You’re a Fit If You

  • Have 4+ years of hands-on marketing experience, preferably in B2B, SaaS, IT, agency, or international marketing environments.
  • Have previous experience leading, coordinating, or mentoring a marketing team.
  • Know how to organize people, tasks, deadlines, and priorities without losing sight of the bigger picture.
  • Are comfortable working with a Creative Director and turning creative direction into structured execution.
  • Have experience with B2B marketing campaigns connected to lead generation, brand awareness, sales support, product communication, or international markets.
  • Understand the value of organic marketing and enjoy building visibility through content, events, relationships, communities, and smart positioning.
  • Have experience organizing or supporting live events, online events, webinars, podcasts, meetups, panels, or similar formats.
  • Are fluent in English, since we work across international markets.
  • Are proactive, curious, and constantly researching trends, tools, platforms, AI solutions, and new marketing approaches.

Bonus Points If You

  • Have worked in SaaS, retail tech, fiscalization, B2B services, or with international clients.
  • Have experience creating campaigns for different products, services, digital platforms, or client portals.
  • Have experience connecting marketing activities with sales goals and business development initiatives.
  • Have helped organize podcasts, events, conferences, webinars, or community-based marketing activities.
