Material Requirements Planning (MRP) Specialist

Vorwerk Autotec is a global developer, manufacturer, and distributor of rubber bushes and bearings for automotive suspension components. To strengthen the Vorwerk Autotec team in Čačak, we are looking for a: Material Requirements Planning (MRP) Specialist.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

• Monitoring the status of customer orders;
• Schedule the supply of materials/components to meet production requirements and minimum safety stock levels;
• Checking the availability of materials and setting priorities for production;
• Close cooperation with suppliers and monitoring of their capacity, quality, and costs;
• Ordering materials and monitoring deliveries, in order to meet the production plan and delivery plan;
• Resolving the ordering of critical components and cooperation with critical suppliers;
• Addressing short delivery times;
• Delivery planning, in order to optimize working capital and transport costs;
• Optimizing inventory levels and adhering to set budget targets (KPI’s Supply Chain service);
• Emergency transport management and selection of the correct type of transport;
• Data exchange and cooperation with the Controlling Operations Service;
• Keeping up-to-date information on the status of deliveries.

Your qualification:

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the automotive industry;
• SAP advanced knowledge;
• Advanced MS Office;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Strong planning and organizing skills;
• Fluent in English;
• Results orientation.
