Your Profile

• Ideally, you have at least 3 years of professional experience in BIM modelling of HVAC systems.
• You have a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field. Equivalent practical experience in HVAC BIM modelling is also considered.
• You have a good understanding of HVAC systems, installation methods, materials, and the technical principles behind mechanical building services.
• You have experience in creating and maintaining 3D BIM models and generating coordinated 2D drawings and execution documents.
• You can read and interpret technical drawings, plans, sections, and specifications, translating them into accurate, coordinated, and installation-ready models and documentation.
• You understand the importance of clash detection, model coordination, constructability, and accessibility for installation and maintenance.
• You have a good understanding of relevant engineering standards, BIM standards, and project-specific modelling requirements, and you are willing to continuously expand your knowledge.
• You actively use AI tools and explore opportunities for automation to improve modelling quality, accuracy, and efficiency.
• You work precisely, systematically, and independently, with a strong focus on quality, consistency, and meeting agreed deadlines.
• You maintain a clear overview of model status, open issues, and coordination requirements, documenting relevant information in a structured and traceable manner.
• You communicate proactively with engineers, project managers, BIM Model Managers, and other project stakeholders to clarify technical issues and ensure smooth project delivery.
• You have advanced English proficiency; knowledge of German is considered a strong advantage.

Your Responsibilities

• You create, develop, and maintain accurate and coordinated 3D BIM models of HVAC systems using Autodesk Revit and other relevant software.
• You generate coordinated 2D floor plans, sections, details, and execution drawings directly from the BIM model, ensuring they are practical and ready for on-site installation with minimal need for additional clarification.
• You prepare complete and accurate project documentation, including drawings, sheets, legends, schedules, and bills of quantities.
• You model HVAC components and systems with particular attention to routing, installation conditions, clearances, accessibility for maintenance, and practical execution on site.
• You perform clash detection, identify potential conflicts with other building systems and structural elements, and proactively support their resolution.
• You review your models and drawings to verify accuracy, completeness, consistency, and compliance with project specifications and BIM requirements.
• You update models in line with design changes, coordination feedback, and project revisions, applying solution-oriented modelling principles.
• You collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and the BIM Model Manager to ensure compliance with BIM standards, client requirements, and internal company guidelines.
• You participate in BIM coordination meetings, communicate technical issues clearly, and follow up on open items to support efficient project coordination.
