Job description:

You will ensure that the facility's storage and retrieval machines, conveyor technology, hoists, and electric floor conveyor systems remain mechanically in top condition.You will keep the system running reliably through planned maintenance, proactive part replacement, and fast on-site troubleshooting.

• Maintain and service conveyor technology, storage and retrieval machines, hoists, and chain and roller conveyors according to the maintenance schedule
• Identify mechanical wear before it becomes critical, and proactively replace bearings, chains, rollers, and other wear parts
• Respond on-site to mechanical breakdowns and restore normal operation quickly
• Carry out lubrication work according to plan and document it clearly
• Inspect mechanical safety devices to ensure the facility runs according to standards
• Work closely with electrical and automation colleagues, as well as the remote engineering support team

Requirements:

• Education background or training in mechanical or mechatronics tech, engineering or similiar
• Technical understanding of mechanical systems, drive technology, bearings, chains, and hoists
• English language skills, minimum B1/B2 level, for team communication and remote support
• Flexibility for 24/7 shift work - team works in a 3-shift model with 6 employees rotating across all shifts, so no one is permanently assigned to a single shift. On average, each technician works the night shift only once in few months.
• High self-motivation, a solution-oriented mindset, and strong team skills
• Nice to have: experience with storage and retrieval machines or automated warehouse systems, knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
