Humanitarian organization Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders (MSF) / Lekari bez granica is implementing a project of humanitarian medical assistance to the migrant population transiting through Serbia.

For its project in Serbia, MSF is recruiting MEDICAL DOCTOR for field work post in Belgrade.

Main Purpose of the Position

Provide outpatient medical care to patients/beneficiaries according to adapted and updated medical knowledge, MSF protocols, values and universal hygiene standards to improve the patients/beneficiaries health conditions..

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Provide high-quality medical care by diagnosing and treating patients inline with MSF protocols. Ensure proper use of medicines and medical equipment, maintain hygiene standards, monitor patient follow-up, contribute to epidemiological data collection, support staff training, and always uphold patient confidentiality and quality of care.

MSF Section/Context Specific Accountabilities

As part of the mobile medical and support team, provide outpatient medical care, identify and refer patients requiring specialized treatment, and ensure appropriate follow-up. Collect and manage medical data, support vulnerable patients, deliver Psychological First Aid, maintain pharmacy stock according to MSF standards, and collaborate closely with authorities, healthcare providers, NGOs, and the wider project team to ensure quality patient care and effective service delivery.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Education    
  • Medical Doctor diploma. Medical license.

• Experience
  • 1 year experience minimum as a Medical Doctor or in clinical work (can be within medical training). 
• Languages
  • Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English and Serbian
