Move Coordinator

What You’ll Do

• End-to-End Project Management: Oversee the entire life cycle of a move, including packing dates, loading, transit, and delivery at the destination. Pro-active and reactive management of international moves from initial inquiry until final invoicing.
• Client Advocacy: Act as the dedicated point of contact, providing regular status updates and "counseling" clients on customs requirements and shipment schedules.
• Logistics Orchestration: Liaise between internal operations teams (crews/drivers) and third-party vendors (shipping lines, air freight, destination agents) to ensure all services are performed as planned.
• Document Preparation: Manage critical international shipping documents such as Bills of Lading, insurance certificates, and customs pro-forma invoices. Updates all records and databases
• Issue Resolution: Proactively solve transit delays, port congestion issues, or service delivery disputes to ensure a stress-free experience for the transferee.
• Quality assurance: Ensure all services meet company quality, safety, and compliance standards. Support continuous improvement through feedback and service optimization initiatives

The Ideal Candidate

• Education: A university degree in Logistics, Business, Economics, or Philology (languages) is preferred.
• Experience: Previous experience in the household goods moving sector, freight forwarding, or a high-touch customer service role is an advantage. Excellent communicator with affinity to sales.
• Language Skills: Professional proficiency in English is non-negotiable for communicating with global partners. Greek language skills are an advantage.
• Soft Skills: High emotional intelligence and empathy (to handle stressed clients), exceptional organization, and the ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment.
