Moving Crew Leader / Operations Lead

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the Front Line: Supervise a crew of movers on-site, ensuring all items are packed, loaded, and transported safely and efficiently.
• Be the Face of the Company: Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the move, explaining the process and providing a high level of customer service.
• Technical Execution: Oversee the professional disassembly and reassembly of furniture and the specialized packing of fragile or high-value items.
• Logistics Management: Manage the loading plan for the truck to maximize space and ensure the safety of the cargo during transit through Belgrade traffic or long-distance routes.
• Documentation: Complete all necessary paperwork, including inventory lists, damage reports, and delivery receipts (often in both Serbian and English).
• Vehicle Care: Ensure the company vehicle is maintained, clean, and stocked with necessary moving supplies (blankets, tape, tools).

The Ideal candidate:

• Experience: At least 2 years of experience in the moving or logistics industry, preferably with 1 year in a leadership or "Foreman" role.
• Language Skills: Fluency in Serbian and a strong working command of English (to communicate with international clients and expats in Serbia).
• Driving License: A valid Category B license is required (Category C is a significant plus). A clean driving record is essential.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 30kg+ regularly) and remain active throughout a longer time periods.
• Problem-Solving: A calm demeanor and the ability to solve logistical issues or client concerns on the fly. Resolve on-the-job challenges and make quick decisions regarding routing, staff call-offs, or logistical hurdles.
• Professionalism: Punctuality, honesty, and a clean-cut appearance.
