We are currently seeking a creative, proactive, and result-driven Organic & Paid Social Media Specialist to join our team in support of our partner company – Online Marketing for Doctors. Our partner is a full-service digital marketing agency focused exclusively on connecting patients around the world with the best medical and healthcare providers in their fields.
As an Organic & Paid Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, creating, managing, and optimising both organic and paid social media strategies across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and other relevant social channels. As part of the broader Marketing team, you will play a key part in developing engaging content, strengthening brand identity, growing online communities, and driving measurable business outcomes through strategic social media activity.
Responsibilities:
Social Media Strategy & Management
- Develop and execute organic and paid social media strategies aligned with client goals
- Create and manage monthly content calendars (including content themes, posting schedules, campaign objectives, and promotional activities), content pillars, audience targeting, hashtag, and geo-targeting strategies
- Stay current with platform trends, updates, advertising policies, and best practices
Organic Social Media Management
- Manage and execute organic social media campaigns across different channels including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube
- Create engaging content (posts, stories, reels, videos, and copy) tailored to target audiences
- Maintain consistent posting schedules, content distribution across all platforms, and drive audience growth, reach, and engagement
Paid Social Media Advertising
- Plan, create, launch, and manage paid campaigns across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other platforms
- Develop strategic PPC plans that support client objectives, customer journeys, lead generation, and conversion goals
- Create and optimise audience targeting, budgets, bidding strategies, ad placements, creative assets (images, graphic, video content), and ad copy
- Monitor performance and continuously optimize campaigns to improve ROI and conversions
Brand & Creative Development
- Develop brand guidelines, including brand personality, tone of voice, visual identity, colours, typography, and content direction
- Create and maintain branded social media assets (profile imagery, highlight covers, banners) and campaign creatives
- Collaborate with creative teams on content ideation, graphic design, and video production
Community Management & Engagement
- Engage with audiences through comments, messages, reviews, and outreach activities
- Build and maintain strong online communities and positive brand relationships
Reporting & Optimisation
- Track, analyse, and report on organic and paid social media performance, including engagement, reach, audience growth, traffic, leads, and conversions
- Deliver monthly performance reports with actionable insights, recommendations, and performance summaries for clients and internal stakeholders
- Monitor KPIs and identify opportunities for growth and improvement
Account & Client Management
- Conduct creative planning and strategy sessions with clients as required
- Serve as a point of contact for social media-related requests, tickets, and campaign updates
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver integrated marketing strategies and campaign success
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Digital Media, Graphic Design, or related field – preferred
- 3+ years of experience in in digital marketing, with a strong focus on both organic and paid social media
- Proven experience managing multiple client accounts and social media campaigns simultaneously
- Strong background in planning, executing, and optimising paid social campaigns
- Experience developing organic social strategies that drive growth, engagement, and brand awareness
- Skilled in creating social media content, including graphics, videos, ad creatives, and copywriting
- Expertise across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and major social platforms
- Advanced knowledge of Meta Ads Manager and paid social advertising
- Strong understanding of audience targeting, campaign optimisation, budget management, and conversion tracking
- Proficient with social media scheduling, analytics, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, video editing tools, and Google Analytics
- Ability to analyse performance data and provide actionable insights
- Understanding of social media advertising policies, platform compliance, and community guidelines
- Excellent written and verbal communication, client management, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong organisational, time management, and project management abilities
- Detail-oriented, creative, analytical, and results-driven
- Adaptable, proactive, and able to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Certifications in Social Media Marketing, Paid Advertising, Digital Marketing – plus
- Healthcare marketing experience and familiarity with AHPRA guidelines – plus
