About the Role 

Nordic Direct Finance is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented student worker / junior associate to support our international tendering and business development activities. 
The role is ideal for a student or young professional interested in EU and international tendering, finance and sustainability, and donor-funded projects, international consulting, and proposal writing. 
You will work closely with the CEO, Project Coordinator and external consultants on identifying opportunities, preparing proposals, business development activities, coordinating travel, and in general supporting our project activities. 

Main Responsibilities 

• Monitor EU, international donor and development-finance tender platforms daily
• Identify relevant tender, consulting, and green investment opportunities
• Maintain tender pipelines and opportunity databases
• Support preparation of proposals, CVs, contracts and other relevant documents
• Assist with project-related research and reporting
• Support LinkedIn campaigns, updates and outreach
• Source external consultants and experts
• Support the CEO with travel, conference participation, meeting logistics
• Support other project activities when needed

Required Qualifications 

• Strong English language skills (written and spoken)
• Strong organizational and administrative skills
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and AI tools
• Interest in sustainable finance, international development, donor-funded projects, and consulting 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience with EU, EIB, KfW, World Bank, IFC, Danida, Sida, GIZ, AfDB, ADB, tendering procedures
• Experience with donor-funded projects, sustainability projects, or NGOs
• Proposal writing, research, or business development experience
• Familiarity with LinkedIn marketing
