We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Payments Processing Officer to join our team and support our day-to-day payment operations.

About the Role

We are seeking a Payments Processing Officer to support the accurate and timely execution, monitoring, and reconciliation of payment transactions. In this role, you will manage daily payment flows, investigate and resolve transaction-related issues, and ensure that payment activities are carried out in line with internal procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and analytical, with a good understanding of payment processes and the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a dynamic, high-volume environment.

This is an office-based position located in Belgrade.

Responsibilities

• Execute, verify, and monitor payment transactions.
• Manage settlement and reconciliation processes with banks and payment partners.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies, failed, or delayed transactions.
• Monitor transaction queues and system alerts to ensure smooth operations.
• Work closely with compliance teams to support AML, KYC, and fraud prevention measures.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all payment activities for reporting and audit purposes.
• Provide operational support to merchants, partners, and internal teams regarding payment-related issues.
• Support the integration and testing of new payment methods and platforms.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field (preferred).
• Previous experience in payment processing or banking operations.
• Solid understanding of payment systems.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements (AML/CFT).
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Professional proficiency in English (minimum B2 level).
