About the Role

We are looking for a PHP Developer to join our growing engineering team and contribute to the development of our flagship product - PC App Store.

You will work closely with our engineering team in Ukraine and report directly to the Team Lead, receiving full onboarding and support throughout your integration into the team and product ecosystem. In this role, you will help develop new features, improve system performance, and contribute to the scalability of a product used by millions of users worldwide.

What You'll Do
* Develop new product features and functionality using pure PHP (without frameworks).
* Design and implement integrations with internal and third-party services through REST APIs.
* Work with MySQL databases, including query optimization and performance improvements.
* Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decision-making
* Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs and performance issues.
* Collaborate closely with Developers, QA Engineers, Product Managers, and other stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
* Contribute to improving code quality, system reliability, and overall product scalability

What We're Looking For
* Commercial experience developing applications using pure PHP.
* Strong knowledge of PHP 8+, MySQL, and REST API integrations.
* Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes.
* Understanding of software architecture principles and development best practices.
* Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks from concept to delivery
* English (at least B2), Serbian (at least B2), Ukrainian or Russian - fluently.
* Based in Belgrade and willing to work fully on-site.

Nice to Have
* Experience building CRM systems or other business-critical web applications.
* Experience working with AWS services and cloud-based infrastructure.
* Familiarity with high-load systems and performance optimization.
