Planning and Quantity Survey Engineer Assistant

China Shandong International Economic and Technical Corporation Group Ltd, ogranak Beograd, announces the recruitment of a Planning and Quantity Survey Engineer Assistant.

Project: Construction of Expressway Požarevac–Golubac

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the engineer in preparing monthly Interim Payment Certificates (IPC) and related supporting documents.
• Assist in verifying quantities and supporting documents submitted for payment.
• Maintain records of measured, certified and paid quantities.
• Assist in preparing and tracking Variations, Additional Works and Omitted Works.
• Coordinate with the construction, engineering, planning and commercial teams to obtain the information required for measurement and payment applications.
• Maintain proper filing and document control for measurement and payment-related documents.
• Perform other quantity surveying and commercial support tasks assigned by the engineer.

Requirements

• University degree or relevant diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related field.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience in construction, quantity surveying, measurement or commercial management is preferred.
• Previous experience in road, highway or infrastructure projects will be an advantage.
• Basic understanding of construction drawings, BOQ and construction quantities.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel; experience with AutoCAD and/or other construction-related software is an advantage.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work with large amounts of numerical and technical information.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Good English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Salary

Basic salary: EUR 1,000 net.
