Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate project quality activities in accordance with the APQP process, customer requirements and JSS procedures.
- Define and monitor project quality deliverables, milestones and quality gates.
- Coordinate project quality activities with relevant Process Owners and project team members.
- Monitor project quality status, open actions, risks and deadlines and escalate delays or risks to the Direct supervisor.
- Ensure that project quality documentation is prepared, reviewed and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify and review applicable customer quality requirements and Customer Specific Requirements (CSR).
- Communicate applicable quality requirements to relevant Process Owners and project team members.
- Monitor implementation of customer quality requirements within the project.
- Support customer communication regarding project quality topics under the direction of the Direct supervisor.
- Identify and monitor project-related quality risks.
- Coordinate appropriate preventive and corrective actions for identified quality risks.
- Support risk analysis activities including PFMEA and other applicable quality tools.
- Ensure that lessons learned from previous projects are considered during project quality planning.
- Coordinate preparation, review and implementation of PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow and other applicable quality planning documents.
- Ensure consistency between Process Flow, PFMEA, Control Plan and actual manufacturing processes.
- Coordinate reviews with relevant Process Owners and ensure required actions are completed.
- Coordinate and monitor PPAP preparation and submission according to customer requirements and applicable PPAP requirements.
- Ensure that PPAP documentation and objective evidence are complete, consistent and aligned with the approved product and manufacturing process.
- Monitor PPAP timing and escalate risks to the Direct supervisor.
- Support customer communication related to PPAP and project quality submissions.
- Lead or coordinate project-related quality problem solving using appropriate methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa, PDCA and other applicable methods.
- Coordinate root cause analysis with relevant Process Owners.
- Ensure corrective actions are implemented and their effectiveness is verified.
- Prepare and submit customer quality reports such as 8D when required.
- Ensure that lessons learned are documented and incorporated into relevant quality planning documents and future projects.
- Support and coordinate project-related process and product audits according to the APQP plan and customer requirements.
- Participate in project gate reviews and provide quality status, risks, open actions and readiness assessments.
- Monitor project quality readiness for production launch.
- Escalate unresolved quality risks that may affect SOP, customer requirements or product conformity.
- Provide quality-related input during the early project phase, including Feasibility Study and technical reviews.
- Support the Project Engineer by identifying quality, manufacturing and customer-specific risks.
- Review quality-related aspects of proposed product and process concepts.
- Ensure that identified quality risks are transferred into the appropriate APQP and quality planning activities.
- Support evaluation and management of product and process changes during the project.
- Assess quality risks and customer requirements related to changes.
- Ensure required quality approvals and customer approvals are obtained
Qualification, skills, requirements:
- University degree or higher vocational education in a technical, organizational or social field
- 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing company
- Knowledge of IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3
- Advanced level of English
- Computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of APQP, PFMEA, PPAP, 8D, SPC, Control Plans, PDCA and QRQC
