POSITION SUMMARY

The Process engineer is responsible for the standardization, implementation and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and equipment, as well as for managing projects, teams, and costs to enhance production efficiency and productivity.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Standardization of processes, equipment, and work procedures (Final Assembly production area)
• Definition of technical specifications and procurement of assembly equipment (assembly boards and related components)
• Installation, validation and equipment start up (SOP)
• Management of production equipment status, investments and procurement of new equipment, with a focus on cost optimization and lead time reduction
• Coordination of engineering change implementation, new project introductions and continuous improvement activities
• Leading and coordinating the team responsible for equipment installation
• Monitoring and reporting project deadlines, costs, quality, and implementation status
• Active participation in Lean, Six Sigma, MCIP and IMCIP initiatives aimed at increasing productivity, reducing costs and improving processes
• Collaboration with the central team in defining equipment standards and procedures
• Preparation of samples and coordination of shipments to suppliers
• Annual evaluation of process and equipment
• Control and management of equipment inventory status (Running & Idle)

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Completed VI or VII degree University/Higher education
• Knowledge of wire harness production - final assembly
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the position of process engineer for final assembly
• Fluent in English language
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office package
• Strong communication skills
