Brief Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Production Manager to lead our production operations in Šabac. You will be responsible for setting annual production goals, developing detailed action plans, and ensuring smooth, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing processes. This role requires strong leadership, excellent planning skills, and the ability to drive performance improvements across teams, systems, and processes while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Department Planning & Management

• Define annual production policies and objectives aligned with company goals.
• Develop key departmental tasks and actionable plans.
• Break down annual targets into monthly/weekly plans and ensure effective execution.
• Review departmental performance regularly and report results to senior management.

Production Planning & Execution

• Collect and analyze production requirements from business and project teams.
• Organize and implement production activities to meet targets.
• Investigate and address any shortfalls in production performance.
• Implement capacity improvement initiatives based on annual policies.
• Resolve abnormal issues during production processes.

Supervision & Control

• Plan production staffing, skill development, and equipment capacity.
• Oversee personnel and equipment allocation for new project launches.
• Approve material requirements, production schedules, and delivery plans; monitor raw material usage.
• Manage warehousing, delivery fulfillment, and MPS activities.

Quality & System Management

• Establish and maintain the department’s comprehensive quality management system.
• Develop and enforce production quality standards and process technology guidelines.
• Maintain and update system documents regularly.
• Organize training to ensure effective operation of QAD, FMS, and WMS systems.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in production management or related roles, preferably in automotive or large-scale manufacturing.
• Technical Knowledge: Lean production, production planning, employee training and motivation.
• Behavioral Attributes: Integrity, trustworthiness, leadership, problem-solving ability.
• Languages: Serbian and English; other languages are an advantage.
• Work Environment: Factory-based role with occasional overtime during peak periods.
