Position: PS SW Engineer, Java/C++ Developer

Location: Belgrade

The PS Engineer role is hands-on, requiring analytical, architectural and design skills in addition to programming ability and a commitment to product quality through thorough testing, sound practical design and review. The role involves all aspects of the product life cycle, from requirements gathering, analysis, design, review, development and iteration/refactoring of product enhancements (including leading small teams where appropriate) to providing assistance to project delivery teams in either a Product Support or Consultant capacity.

The professional we are looking for is an experienced software developer skilled in Java, with at least 5 years of experience in development.

• Proven working experience in Java development
• Experience in analysis and capturing client and internal requirements
• Experience in the payment industry
• Unit and integration testing experience
• Excellent knowledge of object-oriented design patterns
• Experience in building web pages with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Good knowledge of C/C++
• Experience with the Atlassian stack, Maven, Git and Gradle
• Working experience in a Scrum team
• Advanced English proficiency
• Good understanding of modern AI concepts, including AI agents, prompt engineering, skills/tool orchestration, and the practical application of generative AI technologies
