Required Knowledge and Skills

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in cost control or cost management
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and cost control
• Knowledge of risk management practices and cost impact assessment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure megaproject environment with tight deadlines

Preferred Knowledge and Skills

• Serbian language (spoken/written) and familiarity with Serbian regulations / local approval & compliance processes
• Familiarity with local regulations and cost standards
• Knowledge of BIM and digital cost management tools

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the project’s control budget (PCB)
• Support the preparation of baseline budgets for all project phases
• Monitor project expenditures against approved budget
• Identify budget deviations and cost overruns at an early stage
• Implement corrective actions to maintain budget compliance
• Develop an estimate of completion and estimate to complete
• Prepare monthly cost reports and executive dashboards
• Prepare cash flow forecast and funding requirements
• Monitor committed costs and subcontractor expenditures
• Ensure alignment between the scope, schedule & the budget
• Maintain cost control databases and reporting systems
• Lead cost review meetings and budget workshops where necessary
