Project Intern (f/m/d)

starting in May 2026.

Within the framework of the Western Balkans Chamber Partnership Project (KVP WB6), implemented since 2019, we collaborate with national partner chambers in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Serbia, as well as their umbrella organization, the Western Balkans 6 Chamber Investment Forum (WB6 CIF).

The project supports regional economic cooperation, strengthens institutional capacities, and enhances dialogue between the business community and policymakers across the Western Balkans and the EU.

Project objectives:

• Strengthen the organizational structure of the CIF in line with the needs of its member chambers and the requirements of regional and supraregional (Western Balkans–EU) economic policy dialogue.
• Develop and implement regional services in close cooperation with the WB6 national chambers, ensuring their integration into the chambers’ service portfolios and their active promotion to member companies.
• Enhance joint economic policy advocacy of the WB6 chambers and their member companies and ensure effective representation in regional and supraregional dialogue formats.

Your Responsibilities

As a project intern, you will work closely with the project team, supporting day-to-day activities and contributing to the project by carrying out the following tasks:

• Supporting the project team in the coordination of activities with regional partners
• Assisting in communication with project stakeholders across six Western Balkan countries
• Contributing to social media and visibility activities
• Supporting the preparation of reports, presentations, and project documentation
• Assisting in the organization of meetings, conferences, and events (regional and international)
• Helping with the preparation and follow-up of internal and external meetings

Your Profile

• In the final year of or recently graduated from a degree in economics, social sciences, political science, or a related field
• Solid knowledge of the Microsoft Office package (ppt, excel, word)
• Very good command of English (knowledge of German is an advantage)
• Interest in communication, social media, and project work
• Interest in the Western Balkans region and European integration processes is an advantage
• Strong organizational skills, reliability, and attention to detail
• A team-oriented mindset and good communication skills
