Position Summary

For our offices in Belgrade, we are seeking an energetic, responsible person to join our growing organization in the position of Project Manager (PM) of industrial and large-scale solar-PV power plant projects on the territory of Serbia. She/he will have an opportunity to work closely with the Country Manager, Project Development, Engineering, and other departments to lead the development of commercial-scale solar-PV systems.

Responsibilities and Essential Skills needed

The Solar-PV PM will be responsible for the following:

• Identification of greenfield solar-PV project opportunities in Serbia.
• Management of all aspects of a solar-PV project together with the Country Manager and the Head of PV.
• Work with the Engineering team to conduct site investigation and assess the technical feasibility of developing a specific solar-PV project.
• Develop and maintain budget and project timelines, identify the critical path and key milestones for the project's success in an effective way.
• Communicate with utilities and authorities having jurisdictions regarding interconnection (TSO/DSO), permitting, and other regulatory compliance issues.
• Identify the sources of likely problems, proactively take preventive measures to avoid potential project risks, and determine response actions to mitigate any negative impact.
• Experience and understanding of commercial contracts and negotiations.
• Experience and understanding of project and stakeholder management.
• Application of RP Global's quality control procedures and management.
• Decision taking of all other aspects relevant for the successful implementation of the project.
• Possess a high work ethic and the ability to work with confidential information.
• Ability to work in small teams in a multi-national environment and to take over responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Higher education in a related field.
• Knowledge of the full-cycle of utility-scale renewable power generation development and of the solar-PV industry participants and stakeholders.
• High degree of proven project management experience regarding project planning, coordination, stakeholder management and project execution.
• Strong quantitative analytical skills and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work individually and in a group setting.
• Excellent knowledge of the English language.
• Profound knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications and software used for solar-PV projects.
• Driving license.
