Project Portfolio Delivery Partner

The Portfolio Delivery Partner supports effective execution of Portfolio Management processes within a dedicated business vertical or sub-portfolio. Depending on seniority level, the role may range from supporting portfolio governance, reporting, documentation, intake coordination and stakeholder communication under guidance, to independently coordinating selected sub-portfolio activities, challenging inputs, escalating risks and advising business stakeholders. Acting as a key point of contact for portfolio-related matters, the role serves as caretaker, facilitator and consultant throughout the Portfolio and Project Management (PPM) process, while reporting to the Company Portfolio Manager and ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy and governance standards.

  • Ensure sub-portfolio content and activities are aligned with enterprise strategy, portfolio goals, and value delivery expectations.

• Intake & Prioritization
  • Support or coordinate, depending on seniority, the intake and evaluation of proposed projects, validating business justification and ensuring strategic fit.
  • Coordinate and support prioritization to reflect business needs and enterprise priorities
  • Support the management of ad-hoc initiatives and change requests, or independently coordinate them when appropriate, ensuring they are properly integrated into the portfolio structure.
• Delivery Enablement
  • Facilitate or support the end-to-end project lifecycle of initiatives, assisting project managers and helping to remove delivery bottlenecks.
  • Work closely with Technology SPoCs and business requestors to determine delivery paths and provide consistent portfolio reporting.
  • Support audits, reviews, and reporting as requested by the Company Portfolio Manager.
• Risk & Value Management
  • Track portfolio risks and escalate them with appropriate guidance, coordinating mitigation with governance bodies as seniority and ownership level require.
  • Monitor benefits realization to ensure approved initiatives deliver expected outcomes, collaborating with business owners post-implementation.
• Portfolio Infrastructure & Continuous Improvement
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation (Roadmap, scoring models, KPIs, reports).
  • Support resource allocation transparency and help identify capacity conflicts, contributing to collaborative resolution with relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify and promote improvements in portfolio management practices, contributing to the evolution of the PPM framework.

For a strong start, you will need:

• A university degree in business administration, economics, engineering, information technology, or another relevant field.
• 1-5 years of relevant experience, depending on seniority level, with exposure to project, portfolio, governance, business analysis, PMO or delivery coordination environments.
• For junior candidates: willingness to develop in Project and Portfolio Management through governance support, reporting, documentation and coordination activities. For medior candidates: hands-on experience in portfolio governance, prioritization, stakeholder coordination and delivery support.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools; professional certification (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent) is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with portfolio management methodologies and frameworks; formal education or certification in this area is considered a plus.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate effectively across organizational levels.
• Strong digital proficiency, including advanced use of MS Project, Jira (or similar platforms), Excel, PowerPoint, and other portfolio reporting and collaboration tools.
• Seniority, scope of ownership and level of independence will be adjusted based on the candidate’s experience and demonstrated capability.
