To strengthen our team in Čačak, we are looking for an experienced and motivated professional to join us in the position of:

PURCHASING SPECIALIST

Your Key Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers, with a focus on building a reliable and competitive supplier network.
• Manage procurement activities for indirect materials, consumables, spare parts, equipment, and services.
• Collect, analyze, and compare supplier quotations, including cost breakdowns and commercial terms.
• Negotiate prices, delivery conditions, and other purchasing terms to achieve cost-effective procurement solutions.
• Monitor internal purchasing requirements and ensure the timely availability of materials and services.
• Support supply chain and logistics optimization, particularly for imported goods.
• Cooperate with internal departments to align purchasing activities with operational and production needs.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and increased purchasing efficiency.

Your Qualifications

• Higher education in a technical or economics-related field is preferred.
• Previous experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably within the automotive or manufacturing industry.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Good working knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
• Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system is considered an advantage.
