Quality & Compliance Engineer

JAT Tehnika,  a one-stop-shop integrated MRO based in Belgrade (Serbia), with additional stations for line maintenance in Podgorica & Tivat (Montenegro), and Skopje (North Macedonia) is seeking an experienced Quality & Compliance Engineer to join our Quality Department. Key Responsibilities:

• Regulatory Compliance: Track, identify, analyze the updates/revisions of applicable aviation regulations set by DCV, EASA, FAA , and other CAA, and participate in reflecting/implementing the relevant requirements.
• Audits and Inspections: Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify non-compliance issues and areas for improvement.
• Risk Management: Perform risk assessment, analysis and implementing corrective actions to mitigate identified risks in line with her/his level of experience, qualification, and authorization.
• Supplier Quality Management: Evaluate and monitor the quality performance of suppliers and subcontractors.
• Incident Investigation: Lead investigations into quality and compliance incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions in line with her/his level of experience, qualification, and authorization.
• Customer Liaison: Act as a point of contact for customers regarding quality and compliance issues, ensuring their requirements are met.
• Internal Audits: Plan and conduct quality and safety internal audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations in line with her/his level of experience, qualification, and authorization.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Experience: 1-2 years of experience in quality assurance and compliance within the aviation industry, preferably in an MRO environment. (For entry level could be without experience)
• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as AS9110, ISO 9001, or equivalent is a plus.
• Qualified/Certified for Safety Management System (SMS), Investigations, occurrence reporting, QMS (preferred) or similar, Surveillance & Auditing, Policy & Procedure Writing, and Standards (for entry level could be without this qualification, given that she/he will be developed downstream)
