Quality Engineer

For the needs of our client, a leading manufacturer of servomotors, relays, and electromagnets, we are looking for motivated candidates for the following position: Quality Engineer.

Job Description

• Ensuring quality of supplied components and products delivered to customer
• Inspection of incoming and outgoing materials according to defined procedures
• Supporting quality activities for servomotor and PCBA products; experience in PCBA quality is considered a strong advantage
• Managing supplier and customer complaints, including 8D reports and follow-up of corrective actions
• Supporting customer-specific requirements and ensuring compliance with agreed quality standards
• Supporting audits according to ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and VDA requirements
• Applying key quality tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa
• Monitoring and improving quality performance across supplier and customer processes
• Collaborating with production, engineering and other teams to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement

Requirements

• Technical background in mechanical or electrical engineering
• 2+ years of experience in supplier quality, customer quality or quality management, preferably in the automotive industry
• Good knowledge of ISO 9001 is required; knowledge of IATF 16949 is an advantage, with willingness to further develop expertise in the standard
• Knowledge of VDA 6.3 is an advantage, as VDA-based audits are part of our quality activities
• Familiarity with automotive quality tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA and 8D
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good command of English
• Team-oriented, proactive and results-driven
