We are looking for:

Quality Inspector of aircraft engine parts who is responsible for certifying of each repaired and inspected part to the performed maintenance tasks in accordance with approved data.

Tasks

• Conformity evaluation of the work instructions and performed maintenance tasks with approved data
• Evaluation of the performed work and documentation with the customer workscope
• Performing the final inspection to confirm conformity of the component with approved data
• Documentation of the inspection results in the CAQ system
• Certification of the performed maintenance tasks on modules, engine parts
• Identification and initiation of additional maintenance tasks and investigations
• Participation in work scope definition process
• Spot checks within the repair processes to assess conformity of the processes with the approved data
• Supporting audits on products and processes
• Initiating corrective and preventive measures for identified non-conformances, including quality methods

Requirements

• Successful High School graduation
• Professional and practical activities of three (3) years minimum at an approved maintenance organization for aeronautical products, including a qualification as certifying personnel
• Knowledge of measurement techniques and statistics
• Basic knowledge of quality methods
• Successfully passed EASA modules 6,7,9 & 10 in approved Part 147 organization desired
• Engine and/or Component Maintenance Shop experience (repair mechanic role, inspection personnel, Release to Service staff, Certification personnel) desired
• General Release to Service / certification experience / Quality Inspection or Quality Control experience from aviation industry & Part 145 Organizations (outside shop environment – Base Maintenance, Line Maintenance, General Aviation, Military) desired
• Willingness to work in 2 shifts
• English language (written and fluent oral communication)
