Quality NPI Engineer

Role Description

Quality NPI engineer shall be responsible for industrialization of new products and be part of assessment whether the Plant has the technology for production of a new tire.

Main responsibilities:

• Develop and regularly update product specifications and technical documentation
• Support training and onboarding for new employees involved in NPI activities
• Coordinate and monitor cross-functional NPI projects (e.g., scrap reduction, weight optimization)
• Create and maintain product databases and ensure data accuracy in SAP
• Plan and oversee trial builds, including materials readiness and process checks
• Validate semi-products and finished tires against specifications
• Analyze trial results, coordinate corrections, and support design improvements
• Manage test plans, raw material orders, and trial component logistics
• Review and assess visual inspections and tire section reports
• Prepare tires for dispatch and evaluate extrusion and profile accuracy
• Participate in FMEA and support quality risk assessments
• Contribute to new tire design launches, ensuring all documentation and specs are in place
• Collaborate with process owners to plan production trials and track project timelines
• Request changes or approvals of specs as needed for successful industrialization

Requirements:

• VI/VII degree of education (Technical or Engineering background)
• Excellent computer skills and use of MS Office package (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Advanced English language skills
• Team spirit
• Adaptability, patience, ability to meet tight deadlines
