Regional CAPEX Buyer

SMP Automotive Interior Modules, part of the Motherson Group and a leading global supplier of automotive interior solutions, is looking for an experienced and motivated Regional CAPEX Buyer to support our operations across Eastern Europe and Germany. 

Your responsibilities:

• Manage and continuously develop a global supplier portfolio for CAPEX and equipment purchasing. 
• Identify, evaluate and source new suppliers in line with business requirements. 
• Prepare and conduct price, commercial and contract negotiations with suppliers. 
• Drive achievement of purchasing cost-saving targets and budget objectives. 
• Leverage supplier innovation potential to support business growth and operational excellence. 
• Manage supplier relationships, contracts and escalation processes. 
• Prepare sourcing proposals and award recommendations based on commercial and technical evaluations. 
• Maintain purchasing master data and contracts within ERP systems. 
• Create and follow up on project-related RFQs and purchasing activities. 
• Cooperate closely with internal stakeholders and purchasing teams across the Motherson Group to realize purchasing synergies.

Your profile: 

• Several years of experience in purchasing, preferably within CAPEX, equipment procurement or automotive industry. 
• Strong negotiation and supplier management experience. 
• Excellent computer skills, including MS Office, SAP and ERP systems. 
• Fluent written and spoken English. 
• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Independent, structured and reliable way of working. 
• High level of commitment, ownership and results orientation. 
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work in an international environment.
