Job Description:

The RAA reports directly to the Global Head of the EHS Regulatory Deptartment and will be responsible for ensuring compliant SDSs and labelling for each hazardous mixture/suspension the company brings on the market. The RAA will be responsible as well for maintaining all active SDSs we produce, including archiving carefully all SDSs versions (10 years). Additionally, she/he will be engaged with all involved chemical suppliers for all proper regulatory data, will complete the regulatory and improve our relevant contacts with our suppliers of all involved chemicals we use for every serial production and product developments. 

Responsibility (Tasks): 

• Production of compliant SDSs for each hazardous mixture/substance, with the support of our software (ExESS). 
• Screening of all safety documents of involved chemical components. 
• Archiving all data of each SDS request and SDSs, incl. present master documents. 
• Analyzing safety precautions & determine applicable measures for each final composition (approx. after 2 years). 
• Updating & maintaining all OCSiAl’ s SDSs (worldwide) in our database. 
• Provide frequent and specific reports to the Head of the PSRA Dept. 
• Periodic follow-up on the latest worldwide regulations updates by using our system ExESS and report relevant changes to Head of EHS Regulatory Dept. 
• Future: determine when applicable for any SDS review. 
• Follow-up on new serial productions, along with supplying PCN files and updates. 
• Future: submission on the ECHA portal (via REACH IT). 
• UFI numbers management.

Maintain the internal file, including relevant exchanged data, for all labels and review them before release. 

Future: Manage labelling process, which incl. update/maintain compliant label templates for each product & country where it is active.

 Required Qualifications: 

• Proficient in English is a must. 
• Excellent communication / analytical skills. 
• Highly detailed oriented and structured. 
• Capable of working independently and respecting tight deadlines. 
• MS Office proficient, knowledge of ERP software is welcome. 
• Minimum of a Bachler’s degree. 
• Any EHS management experience is welcome. 

 Required Experience: 

• Experience in (chemical) industry will be an asset. 

 Permissions (After positive evaluation and after minimum 2 years): 

• Release of SDSs publicly without supervision,
• Release of the label templates for internal, without supervision,
• Reject any incomplete SDS request from internal until correct/complete data/details have been provided.
