About the role
As a Rewards Specialist, you will independently manage key Compensation & Benefits and People Cost processes, ensuring high-quality, data-driven and timely delivery. You will coordinate key Rewards cycles, provide insights and recommendations to HR and business stakeholders, and take ownership of assigned benefits programs, from assessment and sourcing through implementation and ongoing review. The role also contributes to process improvements and provides defined backup support for critical payroll activities when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate key Compensation & Rewards cycles, including merit increases, incentive processes, salary reviews, promotions and organizational changes.
- Provide compensation analysis and data-driven recommendations on salary positioning, internal equity, market competitiveness and compensation decisions.
- Partner with HR and business stakeholders, providing guidance on Rewards policies, processes, offers, promotions and other compensation-related topics.
- Own assigned employee benefit programs end-to-end, from needs assessment and sourcing through implementation, communication, vendor management and ongoing review.
- Assess benefits in terms of employee needs, utilization, competitiveness and cost effectiveness, and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
- Lead or support benefit tenders, vendor selection and commercial discussions in collaboration with Procurement, Legal, Finance and HR.
- Prepare compensation, benefits and People Cost analyses to support business decisions, budgeting and planning, translating data into clear insights and recommendations.
- Ensure high-quality, accurate and confidential Rewards data, documentation and reporting, while maintaining strong process governance and controls.
- Drive continuous improvement across Rewards processes through simplification, standardization, automation and digitalization.
- Act as a trusted point of contact for HR, managers and employees on compensation, benefits and related Rewards topics, resolving issues and escalating risks when needed.
- Provide defined backup support for critical payroll activities when required, ensuring continuity and accurate processing of Rewards-related inputs.
- Share expertise and contribute to capability building and knowledge sharing within the Rewards team.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Economics, Finance, Business, Mathematics, Human Resources or a related discipline.
- 4+ years of relevant experience, preferably in Rewards, Compensation & Benefits, Payroll, HR Operations, People Analytics or Finance.
- Experience independently coordinating complex HR/Rewards processes and working with multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
- Good understanding of compensation principles, salary structures, internal equity, incentives and benefits.
- Good understanding of payroll processes and data flows, with the ability to provide backup support when required.
- Strong analytical skills, with advanced Excel proficiency and the ability to translate data into clear recommendations. Experience with HRIS and reporting tools is an advantage.
- Experience in benefits management, vendor management, sourcing or tender processes is a strong advantage.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly and influence stakeholders constructively.
- Strong ownership, attention to detail and sound judgement, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Fluent in English.
