Job Summary

CRBC is currently seeking to hire a Road Design Engineer.

Our team has a vacancy for an experienced Road Designer to work on Highway Projects in Serbia.

We are currently delivering major highways designs for high profile clients across the Serbia. In order to achieve our goals, we are expanding our team and are seeking individuals who have a sound technical background and share our enthusiasm and determination to deliver successful projects. They will preferably have experience of working collaboratively as part of a team developing a range of highway projects. The role will suit a self-motivated individual who is aspiring to take a design role in delivering high quality designs.

Minimum Requirements

The appropriate level of technical expertise is required to carry out the following responsibilities to the expected standards:

  • Graduated civil engineer, Master/Bachelor
  • At least 5 years of experience, with background in highway design of major projects
  • Ability to undertake 2D and/or 3D road and intersection designs based either of aerial photography or topographical surveys.
  • Ability to use terrain modelling and volume calculation from models, especially for road/site formation earthworks and pavement, using Civil 3D or GCM, preparation of BOC
  • Good written and oral communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

  • A comprehensive knowledge of the Design Manual for Roads
  • Experience in road designing
  • An appreciation of road safety audits and ancillary road design elements including: roadside barriers, road drainage, street lighting, pavements etc.
