Road Engineer

Duties and responsibilities:

• Apply experience, theory and principles of civil engineering in planning, designing, and overseeing the construction site of structures and facilities of the railway project under the direction of the engineering team
• Perform engineering duties in planning, designing, constructing and overseeing the construction site of the railway project
• Plans and coordinates the work activities and resources necessary for the assigned finishing works in accordance with quality, quantity specifications and ES&H procedures
• Coordinates and directs subcontractor's staff engaged in design and construction activities
• Giving instructions for work on the construction site
• Submitting a report on the construction process
• Coordination and regular contact with Supervision or / and FIDIC Engineer

Requirements:

• Graduated civil engineer, VII degree or higher
• With a valid engineering licenses No GI 04-03.1 (according to the old numeration system No 415)
• Experienced in the design of railway projects is preferred with relevant valid engineering licenses No GI 04-03 (315) or / and GI 04-01 (310)
• With more than 5 years of work experience in infrastructural projects, preferable railway projects (Yellow FIDIC projects)
• With having experience in site management (period longer than 2 years of effective work on similar position must be proven)
• Serbian native speaker with proven written and verbal fluency in English
• Driving license B categorization (active driver)
• Tendency to work in a team
• Good communication skills
• Analytical thinking skills and problem solving focused
