We are looking for a responsible, well-organized and proactive professional to join our team in Zemun, Belgrade, as a Road Freight Operations Specialist (FTL/LTL).

What will you do?

You will be responsible for the day-to-day organization and monitoring of international road freight shipments, coordinating all activities throughout the shipment process and ensuring high-quality, timely service, with a focus on FTL and LTL shipments.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Organizing and coordinating international road freight shipments, including FTL and LTL shipments.
• Communicating and collaborating daily with customers, carriers, agents and other business partners.
• Requesting and analyzing carrier quotations, as well as negotiating transport rates and terms.
• Monitoring transport execution and shipment status, ensuring the timely collection and delivery of goods.
• Coordinating loading and unloading activities and resolving operational issues throughout the transport process.
• Preparing, checking and processing transport documentation, including CMR consignment notes and other supporting documents.
• Coordinating with relevant partners regarding customs formalities for import and export shipments.
• Keeping customers informed in a timely manner about shipment status, potential delays and changes to transport schedules.
• Updating information in business systems and maintaining accurate records of completed shipments.
• Working closely with the Operations team to ensure efficient transport execution and a high level of service.
• Maintaining and developing strong business relationships with customers, carriers and other business partners.

What are we looking for?

• Minimum secondary education; a qualification in transport, logistics or a related field will be considered an advantage.
• Previous experience in international road freight transport or freight forwarding.
• Good knowledge of FTL and LTL transport processes and related documentation.
• Knowledge of Incoterms rules and international transport procedures will be considered an advantage.
• Strong organizational, communication and coordination skills.
• The ability to solve problems independently and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• A responsible, detail-oriented and proactive approach, with a strong focus on customer needs.
• Good command of English; knowledge of additional foreign languages is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of MS Office; experience with TMS systems is an advantage.
