Safety Coordinator

SAFETY COORDINATOR – US BASED TRUCKING COMPANY

Point X Inc is hiring a motivated and responsible Safety Manager / Safety Coordinator to join our growing trucking team based in Illinois.

We are a fast-growing carrier focused on dry van operations with strong relationships with brokers and dedicated USPS freight partners. Our goal is to maintain high safety standards, excellent FMCSA compliance, and professional communication across the entire fleet.

Responsibilities:
-Monitor driver safety and FMCSA compliance
-Review HOS violations, logs, and ELD records
-Handle DOT inspections and safety documentation
-Manage accident/incident reports and claims
-Communicate with drivers regarding safety issues and coaching
-Maintain driver qualification files
-Monitor maintenance and equipment compliance
-Work closely with dispatch and fleet departments
-Improve company CSA and safety scores

Requirements:
-Previous experience in trucking safety or dispatch preferred
-Knowledge of FMCSA regulations
-Experience with ELD systems and Samsara is a plus
-Strong communication and organizational skills
-English required 
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
