Safety Officer

We are a family-owned trucking company based in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, with branch offices in Jagodina and Belgrade, Serbia. Looking to hire an on-site Safety Officer for our team.

Requirements:

• Great speaking and writing English skills  
• Problem-solving and conflict resolution 
• Multitasking 
• Responsibility
• High–level focus on customer service
• 1+ years of experience in a safety role
• Willingness to work on the Chicago/CST schedule (3 pm- 12 am (Serbian time), Monday-Friday) 

Responsibilities:  

• Employment verification  
• Monitoring of logbooks  
• Pre-employment checking  
• Issuance of permits  
• Overseeing and monitoring all safety concerns and issues  
• Effectively communicating with drivers and management regarding all safety matters  
• Providing support to employees in various safety topics  
• Monitoring and updating drivers’ files and necessary documentation 
• Contacting and communicating all safety concerns to the drivers via phone and email
