Sales Development Representative

Job Responsibilities

  • As a Sales Development Representative at HotelTechConsultant, you will be responsible for generating and qualifying the pipeline that fuels our senior sales team. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
  • Prospecting & Outreach: Identifying and researching target accounts within the hospitality and hospitality technology sectors, and initiating contact via phone, email, and LinkedIn.
  • Cold & Warm Calling: Conducting outbound calls to hotel decision-makers and technology company contacts, introducing HotelTechConsultant's solutions and qualifying interest.
  • Multi-Channel Follow-Up: Executing structured, multi-touch outreach sequences across calls, email, and social channels to engage prospects and move them through the early funnel.
  • Lead Qualification: Assessing prospect fit against defined criteria (budget, authority, need, timing) and passing qualified leads to senior sales representatives.
  • Meeting Scheduling: Booking discovery calls and product demonstrations between qualified prospects and the senior sales team.
  • Inbound Lead Handling: Responding promptly to inbound enquiries, qualifying intent, and routing leads appropriately.
  • CRM Management: Maintaining accurate, up-to-date records of all prospect interactions, activity, and pipeline status within the CRM system on a same-day basis.
  • Dormant Lead Re-Engagement: Periodically revisiting lapsed or unresponsive contacts to revive interest and uncover new opportunities.
  • Event & Campaign Support: Assisting with pre-event outreach, post-event follow-up, and targeted campaigns in support of company marketing and sales initiatives.
  • Market Intelligence: Sharing feedback from meetings and calls had with potential leads and clients to inform product positioning, messaging, and targeting strategy.

Candidate profile

  • Fluency in written and spoken English is essential, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with international clients, most of whom are based in the United Kingdom and United States
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service roles or hospitality environments is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal awareness, with the ability to understand and respond to customer needs effectively
  • A high level of accountability, ownership and professional integrity
  • Exceptional organisational skills and a structured approach to managing priorities and follow-through 
  • Flexibility, personal initiative and a sincere commitment to working as part of a team
  • Confidence using computer tools and software, with a distinct advantage given to candidates who have prior experience using sales engagement platforms or CRM software
