Job Description
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of medical devices, including their features, benefits, and applications
- Identify potential clients such as healthcare professionals, hospitals, clinics, and other medical institutions
- Initiate contact with prospective clients to present products and services, and schedule meetings or demonstrations
- Deliver product presentations and demonstrations to highlight functionality and value
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
- Listen to client requirements, address concerns, and recommend suitable products
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts while ensuring company profitability
- Monitor achievement of departmental targets, budgets, and performance of assigned customers
- Prepare cooperation agreements and oversee order fulfillment, including delivery and payment terms
- Maintain and update customer databases (CRM systems)
- Finalize sales contracts in coordination with business administration
- Maintain ongoing client communication during and after the sales process, offering additional equipment and consulting services
- Participate in and support conferences, workshops, seminars, and exhibitions for product promotion
- Contribute to achieving the annual sales plan
- Gather and analyze market and customer insights
- Develop and maintain business relationships with clients
Requirements
- Minimum VI/2 degree in Economics, Medicine, Engineering, or a related field
- Willingness to work in the field (approximately 80% of working time)
- Availability for occasional travel within the Adriatic region and internationally
- Willingness to travel abroad for training, congresses, and sponsored events
- Good command of English (written and spoken)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excell, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
- Experience with ERP systems (Dynamics Navision, SAP) is an advantage
- Knowledge of tenders and public procurement processes is preferred
- Valid driver’s license (Category B)
